Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire famers are being invited to join their local Senedd Member in a special breakfast roundtable to discuss farming issues.
Organised by Samuel Kurtz MS and kindly sponsored by Riverlea Tractors Ltd, the local Senedd Member has brought together several key stakeholders to provide the local agricultural community with important updates on the steps that are being taken to tackle rural crime in Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire.
Speaking about the event, Samuel said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for local farmers to hear from a range of stakeholders about key issues impacting our agricultural industry.”
“We’ll be discussing a whole range of topics, from protecting your farming machinery from fuel theft, to the importance of safeguarding your livestock from dog attacks.
“The roundtable breakfast will provide local farmers with the perfect opportunity to speak directly with those who are tasked with tackling rural crime in our community.”
Samuel will be joined by several special guests, including Wales’ Rural and Wildlife Crime Police Coordinator and Dyfed Powys Police’s Rural Crime Unit.
He continued: “I’m incredibly thankful to all our guest speakers for agreeing to take part in the event. It’s only through working together and providing a line of dialogue that we can hope to reduce rural crime in Dyfed Powys.
Samuel finished: “Places are limited, so if you would like to attend then please contact my office as soon as possible. This is an opportunity that shouldn’t be missed.”
The event is being held on Monday 8th November, 2021 from 11am to 1pm. If you would like to attend, please RSVP to [email protected]. Tickets for the event are free and will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
